I cannot believe it's Wednesday already. My last post was Friday but it feels like only yesterday. I haven't got round to photographing those shoes I mentioned (oops!) but I shall get round to it. I've not been the best at keeping up to date with posts or comments, this last year of uni has really challenged me and taken my time keeping all over the place. I think this is my first outfit post in over two weeks. As you can see I'm still living in this top and these jeans! I can't help myself! The blazer is something I've rarely worn but it's fast becoming a favourite of mine, especially because of the colour. There's just something about blue tones that really grab me!

I've been drawing a lot of shoes lately after mentioning to one of my lecturers at uni that during my spare time I just love fashion illustration. My course focuses on contemporary art so the work I create there is completely different, and I must admit I do prefer my illustrations of clothes and shoes, even though that may seem quite child like to them. I sort of wish I studied illustration, although 3 years ago I had no clue what I wanted to do and art seemed like the best option.

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week too. I've spent a lot more time out the house this week so whenever I get back it's too dark to post outfits. I'll try and post one tomorrow, if not I have a pair of shoes to show that I got for 12 quid in the sale, hells yes!

Shorts, Shirt & Jacket

A few items that are making my eyes light up at the moment. I think the distressed skull on the shorts is proper ace, although as they're incredibly short it'll be bum cheek central - not good. It's got me thinking of DIY ideas, although I'd probably end up butchering it all up! Even though the shirts a blokes I'd definitely wear it myself. The deep colour is more me than a lighter denim that I see constantly. If I get a chance tomorrow I might trail through some charity shops, I reckon it's my best bet for a good quality, affordable denim jacket/shirt. Also whatever you're doing, have a lovely Valentines tomorrow!

Jumper - ASOS, Tee & Jeans - Topshop

I'd been craving a rounded collar shirt and completely forgot I had this stashed away. If I remember rightly it was among one of the first items of clothing I bought from Topshop when I was around 17 I think. I never used to shop there before because being younger I could never afford their prices. I still try to find alternatives though because some of their stuff is eye wateringly expensive for what it actually is, especially when it comes to their knitwear. I gotta admit though their jeans are seriously the bomb! Have an ace weekend too, and cheers for the comments about my drawings, without sounding like an 80 year old it really warms my heart, it really does.

I've been doodling some seriously groovy scarves this weekend. I think my favourite is the red one with the handy little pocket from H&M. I'm not sure what I'd keep in there though, probably some sweets to munch on throughout the day. Either way, pockets are always good in my book, especially if you find something in them, usually a few quid that you didn't realise you had. Do you keep to one scarf or have a huge load of them for different outfits? I always seem to keep to the one during winter, that being my trusty grey one which originally was either my Mum's or brothers!

It's guaranteed that if I have no idea what to wear, this outfit will be it. I think it's because when it's colder I tend to wake up later, so anything easy to whip on and get out the door is right up my street! I've only been out for a driving lesson today, then came back and tided my room - which will be just as messy tomorrow I'm sure! Now I've got on The Maccabee's latest album Given To The Wild. It's bloody good I have to say, very mellow. Feel to Follow is one of my favourites. Also just a reminder again that my boots end tomorrow, so check them out if you fancy! Thank you!

Jumper - New Look, Shorts - Miss Selfridge

This outfit is the result of digging out stuff from the bottom of my wardrobe. I've gotta say it felt nice to pop on a pair of shorts after living in jeans for a few weeks. It's incredible how you can easily forget about clothes you've bought and then get attached to them all over again, as if they were brand new! I've also placed some Topshop Studded Boots on ebay which I got a couple of years ago now. I brought them a size too small but was too stubborn to admit defeat! I wasted a lot of dosh but at least I've never made that mistake again.

A few drawings from the past couple of days.

I should be doing some research right now for uni but I've resorted to having a good gander at coats instead, even though I'm trying not to impulse buy at the moment! I own two coats but usually only wear the one due to loosing the belt to my other one years and years ago. For me coats seem to be the hardest item of clothing to buy. I'd love a nice burgundy shade but I think until I find that perfect one I'll be sticking to my trusty 4 year old black one! Do you find coats as difficult to find as me?

Wearing pretty much all the same stuff at the moment so apologies for the boring-ness. I just had to whip this jumper on again due to the serious frostiness of the past week.

Also Chloe, Mo and Alexandra (sorry it's late!) nominated me for a versatile blogger award (cheers guys) a few weeks ago, and the rules describe sharing 7 facts about myself, which is quite difficult to conjure up as I did a similar one of these not too long ago. Here goes:

Even though I have my moments of impulse buying I'll still try and save money whenever possible. For instance I'll refill bottles with water so I don't need to buy one throughout the day, and I always try to make my own sandwiches before going to uni, because £3-4 a day can really add up!
My memory is pretty awful, I'll tend to put something down and then completely forget where I've placed it. It's made me late for the bus on many occasions!
I started redecorating my room in May and it still isn't completely the way I'd like it. I really want to try and get it all sorted this month if possible though!
Ever since I can remember I've found myself with a pencil in my hand, sketching away. I used to sit in front of the telly for hours drawing cartoons, mostly of Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken and Johnny Bravo... Cartoon Network used to be ace!
Looking back at these facts I have just realised I tend to use the exclamation mark way too much! (There I go again! and again...)
There's not a day goes by without me and my friend quoting Alan Partridge!
And last but not least, I enjoy my tea with skimmed milk and no sugar. (and loads of biscuits!)

There was actually some decent sunlight today (thanks sun!) after I got back from uni so decided to show a few things I got this and last week. I'd been on the look out for a midi/maxi for a while and then saw this one in the sale at miss selfridge, with my nus it was a little over 15 quid, so was pretty chuffed! I haven't worn it out yet seeing has it's still on the chilly side, but hopefully it'll be nice during spring/summer. I also got this blazer this week after trying it on and not wanting to take it off. I'm hoping this will be my last purchase for at least this month as I need to stop impulse buying. Although I really want this book after skimming through it the other day. I didn't want to put it down!

Also I hope you've all had a bit of luck with the sales, there's been some pretty good stuff I must say!

Top - H&M, Jeans - Miss Selfridge

I wore this last week but didn't manage to take any photographs until now. I got this top in h&m for about 7 quid and was pretty chuffed! It makes a nice change from the usual blouses I tend to wear. I've also had a hair cut, I did ask for an inch off but she cut about 3 off! I suppose I did need it though.

Hope everyone had a fantastic New Years yesterday too! I stayed in New Years Eve with the family and watched the fireworks, well, until it got cold! It was lovely seeing the fire lanterns floating through the sky too. Today I've only been out for a driving lesson, which went rather well. My Parallel Park is much better. I always found it one of the biggest struggles, especially the whole point of turn business.

I never feel as if I say it enough but thank you for sticking around and reading the blog. Also if you have any resolutions for this year I wish you the best of luck.

These shoes were from the Monki sale, however since drawing them it looks like they've sold out! I did manage to bag myself some half price River Island loafers though so I'll post them soon!

I cannot believe it's nearly 2012. It always astonishes me how you can change in a year, it's exciting but also incredibly daunting. If I had to choose a new years resolution for 2012 it would be to stop holding myself back and be brave; take risks and embrace as many oppotunities as I can. What would yours be if you have one? Whatever comes your way remember to have fun and enjoy the New Year!

I came down with Gastric Flu Saturday and it was awful, not impressed with the fact I had to skip Christmas dinner and I even refused Cheesecake. Whenever I refuse Cheesecake you know it's bad! Although I did still have a wonderful Christmas and received some really beautiful gifts that I'm incredibly grateful for. The lovely watch is from my brother and the beautiful frames from his boyfriend. My Mom, bless her, got me a men's perfume instead of the ladies so we returned it. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the other in stock so I added the extra to get Daisy. I rarely use perfume if I'm honest, I usually just take some Impulse around with me but this smells so much more luxurious. Along with these gifts I received some awesome pj's which I currently have on, slippers, chocolate and some lovely bath lotions/scrubs.

I only just noticed today that Emily had tagged me for a blog award (cheers!) so here are 7 facts about myself... in no particular order:

I'm such a big worrier, I constantly get described as a pessimist due to never seeing the positive of situations first.
When I was about 4-5 I cried/screamed whenever I saw a man apart from my dad. Whenever relatives came over to visit they would have to sit with towels on their heads so I couldn't see them. Still have no idea why that happened!
I prefer staying in than going on a night out. Give me back to back come dine with me over clubbing anyday!
I seem to always have really cold hands all year round.
I'm a bit shy and on the introverted side but I really wish I wasn't.
I really enjoy reading horoscopes!
I have only told one person who I know about my blog. My family wouldn't understand the whole blogging mumbo jumbo!

Boots - Dorothy Perkins

These were the boots I was a bit uncertain about mentioned in a couple of posts ago. Although since wearing them a few times since I've really warmed to them, plus they're incredibly comfortable too! Dorothy Perkins has definitely been the best option for boots for me this winter. It's funny as it's usually a store I usually walk past or generally forget.

Also just letting you know that J over at Hivenn has a smashing giveaway at the moment! It was great having the chance to draw the design.

I've got to say I'm really impressed with H&M at the moment. They have some fantastic knitwear in and what swayed me even more was the price. This was £9.99 or £12.99... I can't for the life of me remember which one it was but none the less, it's better than forking out forty or fifty quid in most high street stores. So if you're in need of some serious warmth this winter I'd definitely suggest popping in H&M if you get the chance!

Boots - Dorothy Perkins

I'd been looking for a new pair of boots for a while after having to throw away my others due to them becoming unwearable. I have an habit of wearing shoes in until holes appear. After searching for months I finally found a pair that didn't make my feet look incredibly huge in proportion to my body! Does anyone else find that? You see a nice pair of shoes, you try them on but then you think "Oh gosh! how big do my feet look!?" Although I do take a size 6 after all... :P

I've bought another pair from Dorothy Perkins also but may return. I'll have to post them soon. Also will do an outfit post tomorrow/Sunday as I feel I've lost track a little!

It seems the darker the days the hazier the photographs! I came across these jeans the other week and I just couldn't resist them. I was waiting for a high waisted pair of this colour to be stocked for quite some time. I always think £40 is a bit steep for jeans but thankfully being a student knocked a few quid off - I'd be lost with my student discount! I paired them with a sheer blouse and a green cardigan - which, if I remember rightly, was my very first Topshop purchase. I love the look of red and green; it always reminds me of Christmas.

Also, thanks so much for the comments on my previous post. I found them incredibly comforting, and they brought a much needed smile to my face!

It's been a while since I last posted; over a week in fact! I'm very sorry about this. I just haven't been in the mood after coming home from uni late but mainly because my dog, Rolly, had gotten incredibly ill. I'm absolutely heart broken that he had to be put to sleep yesterday. It's amazing how much of an attachment an animal can have on you; especially after 10 years.

The green shorts are out again! This was Monday's outfit and will probably be my 'go-to' outfit for a while. I wore it today too but with a chunky cardie because the cold is certainly kicking in now! I've also managed to finish my proposal so I feel a lot less stressed and enjoying getting back into posting and reading posts. I still have the dissertation though which is incredibly daunting!

On a different note I've had a mess around with the blog design a tad, firstly swapping the lovely drawings (thanks again!) on the side bar to the about me page so I could make them larger. Secondly adding an extra tab to the navigation. It's still under construction though as I'm still in the process of adding blogs. I think these sort of pages are fantastic for discovering blogs so it's about time I put one up!

Merci Boudoir Privé!

The kind people at Boudoir Privé sent me one of their packages during September and I never got around to mentioning it. I know this edition has been posted all over blogspot for a while but out of respect I was determined to include it. I tried photographing them but I'm hopeless at photographing objects so during breaks of my proposal I made a few quick sketches!

Colbert Eye Cream, Zoya (Marina), Macadamia Oil Treatment, Agent Provocateur, Agent Provocateur, Mai Couture Bronzer & Cargo Boogie Nights

I thought the selection was so lovely! Especially loved the 'Macadamia Oil Treatment' as I'm more of a hair person than make-up. I've tried the 'Colbert eye cream' once but I'm a bit funny with trying aging creams at the moment seeing as I'm only 20. I've heard there's a reversed effect which scares me a tad! I wish internet had smelly vision because the 'Tropic body smooth' smells good enough to eat! It has such a zesty smell to it, and leaves hands feeling so soft.

*There was also a bronzer included but as I never wear it I gave it to a friend. She very much appriciated it!

Did anyone else enjoy this September's edition?

Sorry about the seeerious grain on these photographs, there's literally been no sunlight in my room since the cloudy weather has arrived. This blouse is another 20% ASOS purchase, I couldn't resist the pattern which consists of little charms such as horses and rings that you would see connected to bracelets. I haven't really been out of these jeans since I bought them so I think I'm a fully fledged convert now!

Still got a lot of uni work to get done so I think that's how I'll be spending Friday and my weekend evenings after work. As much as I hate the work I'll be so sad to leave uni next year.

Thanks for the dissertation boost in my previous post, cheered me up a lot! Thought I'd try out a different angle for my photographs today, but in all honestly it's stupidly never dawned on me to flip my camera to the side on my tripod or else it would have made shooting these jeans so much easier! I'm a bit of a slow poke at times, dear me.

This is a new skirt I bought recently from ASOS during the 20% student discount. I always find ASOS my go-to place for online shopping due to their free delivery and discounts, although if they did the 20% all year round I'd probably be penniless!

I'm glad it's getting a bit colder now, seems like I'll be busting out the gloves and scarf soon! Although I'm sure I'll find myself bored of layers and wishing for the heat again in a few months. Have a great weekend guys!

Bloomin' hell these images are dark! I've not long taken them and unfortunately the sun has disappeared. I wasn't going to post this outfit as it was just something I decided to lounge around in after work but considering I haven't posted since Monday I thought I might as well! I'm finding it so hard to balance my last year of uni with the blog at the moment so I'm really sorry if I've yet to return comments (I will get around to it!). I've spent most of the week pulling my hair out due to this dissertation business. Yesterday was spent reading theoretical books and papers - I had to have a dictionary with me to understand the majority of the words! Although I've never been the smartest tool in the box...

I finally found myself a pair of jeans whilst browsing in Topshop on a bit of whim! I remember seeing them on their website but I always prefer to try clothes on if I can - especially jeans because I can vary in size in various shop. I've always found Topshop jeans to be a lot smaller in fit than most stores but these ones are perfect, I think due to the stretch the material has. They're a bit awkward to post due to not having enough space in my bedroom so you get a peek at a different angle today!

Sorry if I'm late catching up with comments I'm just so busy with my dissertation at the moment it's unreal. I'm finding it so difficult to sum up a really precise question to debate about! I have my first tutorial in the morning to discuss it so I hope it goes well. Have a good day guys x

Boots - River Island

I didn't realise how busy this week would be! I've been at university pretty much everyday so when I've got back the first thing I've done is fling on my pj's. I've even missed two episodes of Come Dine With Me.. it hurts.

I must say these shoes make be a little happier though. I bought them from River Island after drooling over them online. I felt a bit strange wearing them for the first time due to not wearing heels on a regular basis (I thought I was going to slip ha!) however I soon took a shine to them after finding them so incredibly comfortable. Plus a little added height to my short self feels rather nice!

Top - New Look, Shorts - ASOS, Bag - Topshop

Thought I'd bust out the woolen shorts today seeing has it's incredibly windy outside; I think I have shorts for every season! Hopefully going to add a bit of practicality to my wardrobe when I find some jeans this week (fingers crossed!). I remember I was frozen last winter even with double the 100 denier tights on, plus my legs felt like sausages!

I have uni work to crack on with now though for tomorrow so I best start some research (ZzZzZz). Thanks for the feedback on my illustrations also, really means a lot. Drawing more this year has really cheered me up!

In an attempt to cheer my sickly self up on Saturday I decided to draw a few outfits that I found inspirational. Jumpers with everything is usually me during the colder months but I've never tried a jumper with a skirt so I determined to see how it looks when I visit town this week! I've also started to become really fond of over sized coats - is anyone else a fan? I've seen a lot of people sporting them on street style blogs and they all look so effortless, if I try it I'd probably end up looking like Pat Butcher (shivers).

Back at Uni this Friday so I'm looking forward to that! Just a shame it's my last year, I don't want to grow up just yet...

Blazer & Skirt - Topshop, Top - New Look

After a year of owning this skirt it still remains with it's tag! I've never been brave enough to wear it out as I think it's a pretty bold sort of skirt, but since discovering it again after cleaning out my wardrobe I've really warmed to it. I think I might take the plunge and wear this to uni one of the days when I go back!

What's in my bag?

Purse, Keys, Ipod, Vaseline, Phone, Hand Cream, Umbrella, Sweets, Water and Brush.

Apart from the general essentials (i.e. Purse, Phone and Keys) I also take along these bits and bobs. Does anyone else take their umbrella with them all year round? I always have to take it with me because with British weather you never know what it's going to be like! That song has been in my head for about two days since hearing it on the radio. Although I must say it does put me in a good mood! Just stayed in today hence the messy hair and bare face. I'm hoping to wear these shorts more during A/W with thick tights and even more chunky knits!

Has anyone read The Boy in the Striped Pajama's? I finished reading it the other day and ironically the movie was on bbc2 the same day! I cried reading the book and watching the film - which isn't usually like me! The holocaust has always been something I've been interested in since my school days. When I was in Berlin I visited Sachsenhausen concentration camp and the feeling of standing on the grounds where so many lost their lives was heart breaking but an experience that will remain with me forever.

This is what I wore on the journey back from Wales and the first time pairing the two pieces together actually. The shorts are still a firm favourite of mine often making them my 'go-to shorts' because they're really comfortable! Apologies if I'm beginning to bore you with all my shorts haha, I never seem to wear much else do I? I've been looking for a pair of jeans so hopefully come winter I won't feel as cold as I usually do! Jeans just feel alien to me at the moment whenever I try them on which I find quite strange, as I used to live in them a couple of years ago! It's funny how tastes can suddenly change; especially with age.

Some of my favourite photographs from my weekend holiday to Porthcawl. I've had such a blast down there; I haven't seen the beach for a few years so we mainly just remained around that area - plus saving money in the process (bonus!). If we weren't at the beach we spent our day exploring our surroundings. Saturday we took to the town on the look out for cake! We finally settled on Greggs.. can't be a nice Greggs! :P

I bought this blazer months ago but never got round to wearing it; I never knew what to pair it with. Although whilst sorting though my messy wardrobe I rediscovered these shorts and thought they matched quite well!

I often like to draw the things that have taken my fancy when viewing websites and these are a few at the moment. All from River Island surprisingly, I find it to be one of those shops I always wonder in but it's usually hit and miss. My friend always seems to find a treasure in there though, whereas Topshop works more for me I think. Is it sad I still want a maxi skirt even in these gale force winds here at the moment? I remember seeing Charlotte wearing a peach coloured one quite a while ago but it's remained within head, also I really liked how Mo styled her maxi from Topshop - wonderful!

I've quite literally lounged all day, it's definitely been a no make-up and lot's of tea sort of day. I was thinking of going out today but due to the riots (mass thieving is probably a better term ) which happened in my city yesterday I thought it was best to stay in. I live between Birmingham and Wolverhampton and both were hit pretty bad from the pictures and news reports. I was glued to the live feed yesterday and could not believe my eyes, I couldn't take it in that this was actually happening. I also watched some videos of reporters interviewing some thieves and the rubbish they come out with is laughable - targeting small family businesses; tax payers who probably paid for the shirt of their back! It's just disgusting. I read one report (which is a very good read by the way) which mentioned people were even trying things on in h&m before looting! It's just unbelievable. My heart goes out to those three men that sadly died in Birmingham yesterday and those who have been hurt and affected by what has happened.

As my other heels are all so high I really wanted something more casual as well as remaining 'dressy', so when I discovered these bad boys I thought they were perfect! I'm actually glad I bought them from the store now rather than online as oddly I found the size 6 too big, so had to go a size down and I must say they feel a lot more comfortable. Have you bought anything new recently?

I still haven't taken a picture of those shoes so sorry about that, although I did manage to get these photographs of what I wore Saturday! I remember spotting these shorts a month or so ago but due to my 'spending ban' at the time I controlled myself and left them. This week I saw them again and since selling out in my size online I just thought - "I've gotta hav'em!" I'm really happy I bought the burgundy in this cardigan too after humming and ahhing over it for a while. I think it really warms up my skin tone so hopefully I won't look too washed during Autumn/Winter!

I wore this outfit yesterday and I've gotta say as much as I like these shorts they don't half crease! Other than my very creased shorts I had a really nice day, we went to see a play written by a girl I knew from Secondary school. I didn't expect the cast to be children/young teenagers but it was really sweet and I did have a good giggle. Although I found the thought of those kids having more confidence than me a little depressing!

I adored the surroundings of the place, it was all so prim and proper - nothing seemed out of place at all. This was one of the pubs situated in the town, I thought it had heaps of character!

Stumbled across a couple of really charming buildings that will some day be my home! *continues dreaming*

Every bench was taken but in the end I was really thankful to discover this little 'hideaway' located at the back of this church. We really enjoyed eating our lunch whilst taking in the surroundings.

..and I've just realised everything I'm wearing is Topshop! (minus the shoes)

Shrewsbury is a wonderful little town, this was my second visit and Gemma's first. It's a 2 hour bus ride from where I live but it's worth it for the views. I always find the transition from the city into the country really bizarre, the atmosphere just seems to change dramatically, but in the most pleasant possible way.

I also struck up the courage to mention my blog to Gemma, I really don't know why I was so anxious about doing it!

Dress - Topshop, Belt - Primark

Well, sort of 'new dress', I bought it couple of months ago after swooning over it for weeks on end. It then sold out online but fortunately discovered it in Topshop, I think there were only two or three left so I took the plunge and bought it. I love the colour, texture but most importantly the shape - it has a real natural feminine feel to it and I find it really flattering!

I'm off to Shrewsbury tomorrow so I'm looking forward to mooching in the many charity shops on offer. Also want to thank Tula for her drawing (now on the side bar), it's lovely, thank you! Hope you have a fantastic day guys!

I've spent most of the day catching up with an old book, watching a bit of telly and adding to my (hopefully ever expanding) 'wall of stuff'. So far I've painted these two surreal circular forms, stuck on two cool postcards from an art exhibition and today I've placed on these lips. I've just had an obsession with lips lately so I've been constantly flicking through magazines and drawing them. I used a graphics program to shade them in which isn't my usual way of working but I really enjoyed making it.

I was also surprised when I received an email from donewithconformity with this painting! I've admired her series of interesting works from The Blogger Project so for her to do this is so lovely. Thanks again for such a pleasent suprise! :)

Coat & Bag - Topshop, Top - New Look, Shorts - Miss Selfridge

Meet my trust worthy coat of nearly four years! Is it me or are coats the hardest item of clothing to buy? I can never find one that I really lust for!

Today was really nice, went to the pub for lunch and whilst waiting at the bar I got talking to this really sweet older lady. I discovered she was a painter and her art classes are always the highlight of her week. I mentioned about my course and the worries that go with it of not being able to find a stable career. She basically told me to not stop dreaming; that there's a lot of time left yet. I found it so comforting to hear has life after my degree constantly plays on my mind. I have a dream and being quite a shy person I'm not sure if I have the backbone to succeed. As my lecturer puts it - "Katie, you've got to be braver!".

Tusk, Stone Ring, Eye Studs, Lipstick Studs & Teapot Ring

Really impressed with Topshop jewellery at the moment, especially these pieces as I'm such a sucker for stuff with a bit of a quirky edge. I'd have to say the eye studs are perhaps my favourite due to their seriously cool multi-coloured glass irises. Although my eyes did infact light up when I saw those lippy studs... brilliant.

As promised these are a few sketches from the past couple of weeks. I've tried to find time to draw every two days or so for the past few weeks, it's really helped me to discover how much I miss those days of burying my head in my sketchbook! I never get much of a chance to draw when I'm at university since my practice is sculpture based. I'm known for creating wacky, surreal like forms using clay and manipulating the hell out of plastic (which I find immensely fun!).

I like how this outfit bares so much similarity to this one so sorry if this post is very boring! This is a skirt I bought last year and this is only the second time I've worn it since. I have such a habit of buying, wearing and then forgetting so like I mentioned in the other post, committing to this spending ban has really helped me discover a few more items I haven't worn in quite some time.

After my driving lesson today I decided to meet up with my friend Gemma and had a good ole' weather spoons meal, it's our number one place due to the fact it's only £3.99 for burger and chips, plus a drink! I often find those spontaneous sort of days are always the most memorable. I'm also thinking of telling her about my blog since no one I physically know knows about it... not sure how to really slip it into a conversation to be honest but I shall see! Today I decided to spend it the house as the weather couldn't seem to make up it's mind - first it's raining heavily and the next the sun is flooding through my window! I've still been sticking to my 'spending ban' when it comes to clothes which has helped me rediscover clothes I've pushed aside, much like this jumper and skirt! My favourite thing about this jumper is the crochet collar, I haven't got anything quite like it in my wardrobe!

I can't believe it's been nearly 4 days since I last posted! Time is flying by far too quickly. Today I've spent hours doodling and making use of sketchbooks that I bought years ago, so my poor hand is very sore. I always feel a bit intimidated by the first page of a sketch book, it always reminds me of when I started a first page of a text book in school; it had to look perfect. The sketch is the front cover of a Topshop Magazine I got free last year. I felt the girls face was just so striking and had a sudden urge to draw her. Also I've got to mention these illustrations have been getting me all excited so if you fancy having a look at some artists sketch book just take a look!

Finding the heat today a little unbearable, but I can't really complain after wishing for it! I guess you sort of forget what it's like to have a heat wave after months of rainy, windy weather. Although the weather has enabled me to wear a skirt and top I haven't worn since last year, so thumbs up!

It's been a really lovely day so far, I'm feeling a lot more confident whilst driving now plus I've found more time to paint, which I never seem to manage these days. I really hope you guys are having a lovely day also!

I've had one of those 'I have to get out of the house' kind of days today so hopped on the bus into town and bought myself some photoframes. Nothing fancy mind, just those cheap, glass clipped one as I'm thinking of hanging up a few more sketches. Not sure what it is about long bus journeys, I could sit for hours looking out the window. When I saw the sunshine peeping through my blinds this morning I couldn't help but fancy wearing something a bit flowery. Also got my hair cut last week and it feels so much healthier and has got rid of tons of fly-aways. I tend to go every 5 months even though my hairdresser suggests a monthly visit!

I think I have a bit of a shorts addiction! I bought these ones during the week and instantly fell for the colour. I wore them today with a sheer blouse although it got a bit chilly when I got back so paired it with this jumper. Also wore this necklace along with it so a bit of a pearl overload! Not great photographs I have to say, it's really cloudy here at the moment so barely any sunlight, plus my awkward stance didn't help at all.

I'm hoping those shorts will be my last buy for at least a month due to driving lessons, plus I'm still on the look out for odds and ends for my room. I remember Mo's shopping ban post back in April inspiring as I too have that awful tendency to just buy clothes that perhaps I don't really need.

I've had a bit of trouble with blogger and it's decided to delete my most recent post, plus an error message kept popping up once refreshing blogs... bit weird but hopefully it's now resolved. The post was basically a diy for the little jar I've made although as I'm now in a rush I'm just going to keep it short by showing a few images from the week! I created a little jar to hold my pens, brushes and pencils in!

For some reason when I popped these shorts on this morning I instantly pictured Peter Pan. Gotta be honest wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing, but either way I do really love these shorts! I've also spent the last hour and half trying to put together my new pc desk (ohhh, the joy of flat-pack furniture ay!). Thankfully my Dad said he'll take over tomorrow whilst I'm at work (good times!). There's not much to do now to my room; the bed frame (which was purple) has been painted as you can see in the pictures and some shelves need to be knocked up! Although I'm still on the hunt for a dressing table (hopefully one that doesn't cost me an absolute fortune!).

Apart from all of that room-revamping I've been spending a hell of a lot of time watching Horrible Histories! If you're still a child at heart and enjoy silly songs and sketches then why not check it out!

Popped into town today to get some parcel paper so to kill some time until the bus arrived I popped into Topshop and picked up this blazer! I've fancied this blush blazer for a while but there was no way I forking out £55 for it so I was really happy to discover it had been reduced to £45, and furthermore this week students get 20% off everything! So in the end I paid £36 so I was more than happy with my saving of 19 quid! I'd love to pair it with some Cream Chino Shorts from Urban outfitters however they're unable to accept student discounts online whereas in store they do... which I don't understand at all!

In other news I was amazed to have reached over 400 followers today! I actually can't believe it, thank you!

Blouse & Skirt - H&M

I know this top looks ridiculously like the one I've worn in the last 3-4 posts but it's just one that looks incredibly similar.. from this angle :P I just can't get enough of sheer blouses at the moment! I think it's because they're so incredibly comfortable to wear and not forgetting versatile. I originally bought the navy colour in this skirt however fortunately my friend wanted a second glance in the store after we ate, so out of boredom whilst she was in the changing room I picked up this and tried it on and actually preferred it to my navy skirt so ended up exchanging!

My room is still undergoing re-vamp but I'm hoping it'll be 'complete' soon! Also I'm seriously craving beans on toast so after that I'm going to settle down with a cuppa and get back into the commenting/blogging-realm as I've been pretty damn poor on it lately, really sorry about that guys!

Sorting through some of my rings earlier today. They're now in a little white pot that I hope to place on my dressing table (...when I find one that is!).

Both 50p from a charity shop in Shrewsbury! I couldn't resist the glass bottle even though I'm not sure what I'll do with it.

Since using Ebay a lot more recently I surprised myself at how I really enjoy the aspect of packing the item so thought these stamps would make a nice touch. Think I'll stamp out a 'Thank You' on the brown package paper with them from now on!

My younger brother got my these beautiful coat hangers for my Birthday Saturday from a shop in Shrewsbury called Wysteria Lane however they also have a website! I'm hoping to create some myself if I manage to figure out how they've crafted them! I'm guessing it's just wire and pearls?

Also just want to say thank you for the birthday comments, you're all very lovely! I've not long come back from my first driving lesson too and I was a bit nervous on the roads I must say, clutch control was a bit of a nightmare but I hope I'll improve as it's early days! I hope 20 is a good year, there's something really precious about your teenage years that I'm sad to leave.

my brother and me back in the day!

I turned 20 yesterday and spent the day with my Mom in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury. The architecture there is wonderful; I love exploring historic towns and plus being able to have a view of the country side is also an added bonus! There was a row of charity shops so I was in heaven rummaging through all the brik-a-brak! Managed to find a couple of things to add to my bedroom which I'll post tomorrow hopefully!

Also sorry for not posting as regularly as usual, I've been extremely busy lately and haven't been able to fit in outfit posts. My bedroom is coming together nicely at the moment which I'm pleased with as I don't think I can hack another night on the sofa! I'm covered in paint as I type this ha but it's been nice having a productive Sunday. I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend so far also :) Have a great Sunday guys!

These are a few items I've found during the week on Ebay and in a couple of charity shops I popped into today. The Jug and Hooks were found on Ebay and was delighted when I came across them, the jug will be perfect for holding fresh flowers! I also quickly swiped the two candle pots when I first came across them, I'm still deciding wheather to paint the blue pot white so it would fit in with the surroundings of my bedroom once it's complete however it's such a beautiful colour! My dad's helping to put the flooring down Thursday so hopefully my room won't take too long after that, I'll be sure to upload some images too! (...if it goes to plan mind, ha)

I tell you what though ever since deciding to redecorate my room I've been constantly on Interior Design and D.I.Y blogs! I get such a buzz at the idea of making/creating or even refurbishing an item or piece of furniture, does anyone else get that same burst of energy?

Just realised I've had 2 outfit posts in a row with this shirt but I can't help it, it's my favourite thing to wear at the moment! This is another outfit I quickly put together yesterday after finding these shorts shoved at the corner of my wardrobe. I find it hard to take care of my clothes, when I first buy them I make sure they're hung and neat but after a while the pile of clothes builds and they just get sucked in! That reminds me, I still have time remaining on my EBAY items so take a look if you fancy!

I've officially finished my 2nd year of Uni today! Time had seriously flown by beyond belief. I had a presentation this morning which I felt went quite well considering I'm quite shy at public speaking! I really envy confidence, my brother for example can present to a ton of people whereas I hate the thought of presenting in front of a couple!

With university out the way in a week I've been thinking of using the well needed 4 month break (HELL YES!) to redecorate my room! These images have me drooling with excitement and ideas which I hope will become reality. My room isn't anywhere near the size of these ones though but I'm going to try and make it my little haven. I like the idea of refurbishing old furniture as I think it just adds a lot more character (plus Ikeas prices are a bit extreme!). I've also been having a good nose on Ebay for Little trinkets and saw some beautiful gems which are just furthering my craving! I promise I will get back to outfit posting, I've just been wearing a lot of the same things lately due to the on/off weather!

Hey guys! Please accept my apologies for not posting in a week I've found it difficult to keep up to date due to all my module deadlines cropping up this week (argh panic!). The highlight of my day was finally getting round to a professional bra fitting - I actually feel quite ashamed that I'm nearly 20 and had never had one! I found out I was wearing the wrong bra for years as to be honest I never really understood all the bra sizing and all that mumbo-jumbo haha! I think I'm talking a bit too much about bras so I shall now stop! :P

I have also managed to get a couple of new additions to my ring collection though with these bad boys - both from Miss Selfridge. The leaf ring was in the sale at £2 so I thought 'BARGAIN!' the green one was around £7ish which I feel is expensive for a ring but I really did love the colour. They've got some fantastic jewellery bargains in so you might as well have a look at their Sale!

Sorry this is a rather boring post but I didn't like the thought of completely pushing the blog aside. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and hopefully it's a sunny one at that! :)

Was in a bit of a rush this morning and put these items together but wasn't sure about them at first; possibly due to the fact it felt 'too schoolgirly'. It reminded me an 'Alexa Chung' type outfit although I can't say I've ever been one to follow celebrities in a fashion sense!

Today has been really lovely; spent some time working on some art at uni and then had a trip to a local art gallery to get some leaflets to bulk up my Research Journal (a.k.a cheating slightly).

Lastly I hope to return comments as soon as possible as I know I've been terrible at that the past few days! Hope you guys had a fantastic Easter; my Milka bars went down a treat!

Blouse & Shorts - Miss Selfrige, Necklace - Topshop

I've whipped out these coral shorts again and decided to pair them with a sheer blouse that arrived only yesterday! I've had my eye on this blouse for a while and glad I bought as it keeps you so cool in this warm heat we're currently experiencing! I don't want it to end!

Also today consisted of listening to a lot of Belle & Sebastian, watching countless episodes of The Office (Still yet to see series 5&6) and getting a tad crafty and packing some Ebay Parcels! I wanted to send them off today but I completely forgot it was Good Friday! I'm new to selling so I'm dreading the sellers invoice my friend told me about, apparantly it's a real rip off? I'm also looking forward to my day off work Sunday though, I'm going to munch on lot's chocolate for the entire day - I can't wait!

Also thank you for your comments, they mean a lot and braving bare legs (well, skin coloured tights :P) was a great change; one I'll use more often! Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend and fill your bellies up with plenty of chocolate!

Belt - ASOS, Body - Miss Selfridge, Skirt - River Island, Bag - Topshop

I'm thinking of wearing this outfit tomorrow however the thought of not wearing black tights in quite daunting! I've not gone without black tights since I was 9 or 10! I am however wearing some nude tights to make the complexion on my legs look more even, although I must say I still feel quite naked! On the subject of tights I bought the ones I'm wearing today after months of searching although they still don't feel pale enough! If anyone has any suggestions that would be fantastic, my feet look slightly discoloured in the pictures as you can see haha! I really should have worn some shoes!

I'm so happy to be getting back into skirts though *bows to the Sun* and this is possibly a firm favourite of mine, I simply fell in love with the pattern and the floaty material! My eyes have also been analysing all these beautiful skirts that have been popping into the shops like this one from Topshop. Gahhhh, beautiful stuff! I'm gonna have something to eat because I'm 'starvin' marvin' so I hope you all enjoy the rest of the day! :)

I caved in and bought this blue jacket from one of my previous posts, I saw it in my local River Island and loved it! It's such a beautifully silky feel plus it's got that 'shimmery' kind of look to it which is a bonus!

001. I have yet to tell anyone about my blog! I like the fact it's a secret, plus my friends/family would probably think it's a bit weird! ha

002. I hardly use my mobile, I can last at least 2 months with £10 credit!

003. I'm really unorganised, every morning is a rush because I'm generally running late! I can also clean my room to perfection but a day later it can be just as messy as it was previously!

004. As you've probably guessed I usually only shorts, skirts or dresses! I used to live in jeans a couple of years ago but there's just something feminine about wearing clothes with tights!

005. When studying I love listening to strictly piano based music.

006. I always develop sore throats/coughs especially when the weather changes! There's been so many times when I've been at work on the till and ended up having a coughing fit, very embarrassing!

007. When I'm eating I always think 'Hmm, what to eat next!' - Even though I still have plenty of food remaining!

008. I can't leave the house without my ipod, I've been late so many times due to running back home for my ipod.

009. I turn 20 next month however I always get told I look younger than I am, usually getting mistaken for being around 15-16.

010. I generally only blow dry my hair on the lowest setting possible which again is a reason I'm usually late, ha!

I can't believe it's Thursday already! Where the hell has time gone? Excuse my "grannyish" words but lately the years just seem to be flying by. I leave university in a year which may seem a long time however at this rate it'll soon come around. Is anyone else in the situation of not knowing what route they want to go down career wise? It's all I ever think about lately! The thought of being stuck in a job I hate is worrying, I want to be able to wake up in the morning and enjoy going to work! I wish I was the type of person who could just shrug the thought off their shoulders and just take life as it comes. Apologies for the slightly melancholy post, my mind is just a jumble of stress at the moment!

Skirt - H&M, Blouse - New Look

Yes... I'm wearing THAT blouse yet again, I can't help it! A truly treasured piece! This skirt on the other hand was stuffed at the back of my wardrobe so I thought I'd let it see the light of day! I bought it from H&M for £3-4 so I thought that was a real bargain, plus they have several various colours to choose from! Whenever I wear this skirt I always feel a tad conscious of it riding up when I walk, so all day I was casually trying to pull it down which was a bit of a hassle. It was a nice change from shorts though I must say!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic start to the week, I'm still going to be popping into uni throughout the Easter holidays due to work but hopefully this weather will last and make it far more enjoyable!

Hey guys! Hope you're all well on this very sunny evening (well, in England anyway!) however I'm stuck inside writing up a 2000 word report - not good. I've managed to write up just over a 1000 so I've taken a wonder online and hit the shops! I must say I'm literally in love with these pieces online! I adore the pale pinks and blues hitting the shops at the moment, so beautiful. I've had my eye on that dress for a long time but I keep thinking would it suit me as my skin colour is so close to it, would it wash me out? I'm tempted to buy them but I'm a serious cheap skate when it comes to P&P! What have you been lusting after lately? :)

I was so warm today it was unreal, first time in a while I've been able to walk around carrying my cardigan but I thought I'd bring it along for good measure, you never know what the weather is going to be like these days! I'm the type of person who ALWAYS has to take my umbrella with me.

I have a 10 minute presentation tomorrow (AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHHHH) and as you can see I'm trying to keep it together! I wish nerves could just be switched off like the switch of a light! ....a girl can dream!

Jumper - Primark, Shorts - Topshop

Here I am again wearing more shorts... I really can't help it! I haven't worn these pieces in a while so thought I'd give'em a go! Just sorry about how dull the images turned out, the sun had gone in which was a shame. This is a great cosey jumper, really needed it today - the wind was just insane! I'm also completely cream crackered! My exhibition had taken place last Friday so today we had to dissemble everything - nightmare! We had to lift heavy white boards (well, I tried to lift them!) which was just a real killer! Glad everything went well though, glad it's another module off my shoulders however I'm currently writing a script for my presentation Thursday, I'm literally peeing my self! I'm a wuss when it comes to public speaking, I hate the feeling of standing on a stage whilst everyone has their eyes on you... the thought of it makes my stomach churn!

Also overwhelmed by the amount of followers, I wasn't expecting this at all! I'm so grateful it's unreal, thank you! Hope everyone has a great week, I'm off to sit down with a nice cup of tea and a HUUUUGE bar of Milka chocolate and crack on with this script!.

Top - New Look, Shorts & Bag - Topshop, Necklace - Giveaway win

Hey guys, this is what I wore today! It was a tad too cold to bare the weather in just this so I popped on my cardigan from the previous post to warm me up a notch; didn't really work if I'm honest, ha! Gotta thank my Mum for altering the sleeves on the top as originally they were a lot 'puffier' - for some reason puff ball sleeves don't really agree with my shoulders, they make them look really broad. The shorts were a bit of an impulse buy from Topshop, I saw them on a mannequin and then literally searched the store to find them, I was giving up hope but on the way out I saw a glimpse of the pattern behind some shirts - Gotta be fate right? Yeah.. that's what I tell myself. :P

I've changed the blog up a little too, I decided to whip up a quick header as I've been doodling designs for a new one and decided upon one with a bit more character! Hope you like it. I'm also a little under the weather at the moment hence the title but nothing a cup of tea and a jam doughnut isn't sorting out. ;)

Cardigan, Top, Shorts & Bag- Topshop

Only just realised that everything I'm wearing (minus the tights and jewelry) is Topshop! I wore this outfit yesterday after having one of those mornings where you feel as if you've got nothing to wear; even though you've got a wardrobe filled with clothes! Ever feel like that? It's a really comfortable outfit though, not over bearing in this bit of heat we're getting at the moment!

This week I bought an VO5 hot oil treatment pack from Boots as I saw they knocked a quid off! It was just over £2 and you get 4 in a pack so I thought... why not?! I must say that it worked an absolute treat! My hairs been feeling a tad dry lately so it was much needed! All you have to do is pop it in a cup of warm water for a couple of minutes and then apply it on your hair! It states you leave the oil in your hair for 1 minute however I left it in for around 3 minutes (Ohhh rebel!).

Busy Bee!

Hello again guys! Really sorry I've been a bit of a crappy blogger lately, all my uni deadlines are slowly creeping up and I'm finding it hard to balance everything out. I didn't want to not post for such a long time so I thought I'd post some of the stuff I've been up to this week. I've been experimenting with clay and decided to create some weird, surreal-like forms. They're probably not to everyones taste but since getting a taste for contemporary art since starting the course I've grown to love art that's not 'the norm' I suppose. Although I must admit some contemporary art is just taking the biscuit really!

I shall try and fit in an outfit post tomorrow or the next. I've bought a couple of new items but my mums currently tweaking aspects of it due to it being a little ill fitting. Also, how nice is the weather lately? bloody beautiful!

Sorry for lack of posts this week, I haven't been getting back from uni until 6:30pm so all I've been doing is jumping straight into my pj's! Rose kindly requested a header for her blog as she had been deciding on one for quite some time, so this is what I managed to create. Rose has always been so lovely to me so it was a real pleasure. I'm really glad she likes it! :)

Hopefully I'll get around to an outfit post in the next couple of days, I'm thinking of busting out some trousers which is odd for me as I practically live in tights!

Introducing Bernard... the gingerbread man!

Hey everyone, I thought I'd dedicate this post to this little fella! This is Bernard (His original name) and I was lucky to win him in the lovely Emily's giveaway a few days ago. The package arrived a couple of days ago but resisted the temptation of opening it until now because I've been too busy, so I wanted to really sit down and have a good butchers at it all. I felt a little like a 6 year old child at Christmas; I can't describe how charming the whole package/assortment and letter was, I love how everything has been taken into consideration; even down to the Brasso! I love the smell of Brasso so I was sniffing away at the packaging once I opened it... a little sad aren't I? I can't wait to wear Berny though, I'm sure he'll be in my outfit posts in the future!

Also my heart goes out to those who have been affected by the events in Japan. It definitely puts things into perspective.

Top - New Look, Shorts & Rings - Miss Selfridge, Cardigan - Necklace - Topshop

My new camera came in the post the other day so I can finally get back into the outfit posting! I haven't worn this outfit out yet but these shorts arrived yesterday from Miss Selfridge so I wanted to see what I could pair them with. As soon as I get a new item of clothing I instantly flick through my wardrobe to see what it would 'go' with, I always hate it when you have to buy something new just to match. The shorts are growing on me, but instantly they weren't as expected, maybe because they're very 'Pink'. I don't think I've worn Pink since my love of the Spice Girls, ha.

I couldn't resist these rings either; especially the rabbit! I think it may appear a bit tacky but I've got a thing for very odd rings at the moment; the weirder the better!

Berlin 2011 (Image Heavy)

Woo I am back! I'm still feeling slightly tired even though I've had a good 12 hours sleep since returning. Berlin was just out of this world! I went on a visit to a concentration camp which was just surreal, I didn't expect much emotion but it's such a powerful place. I've always had a strong interest with the WW2.

Also I was surprised to find out that I had won the giveaway held by Emily which I'm so happy about! The prize was an adorable gingerbread man necklace! :)

Hope everyones week has been great, I've got tons of work to crack on with so now I have to slowly slip back into reality.

Socks & Tights - Primark, Boots - NEXT

Hey guys! I was overwhelmed by the responses to my drawing, it means a lot to me as drawing and art in general as always been a passion of mine since I can remember! Thank you, you're all too sweet!

Today is a bit of a boring post due to taking my Nikon back because of faults! :( It's a shame I won't have an SLR to take with me to Berlin next week however I'm currently bidding on a brand new one via ebay, so hopefully I'll win it! Fingers crossed ay!

These items are what I bought this week to keep me warm for the Berlin weather! I have to tell you these Cosy tights are the best tights I have ever worn for winter! They have a wool lining so very, very comfortable and keeps the chill out - only cost me £3 so they were a brilliant buy, got myself another pair too because they always seem to sell out fast! The socks were £1.50 and I love wearing thick socks over tights during winter, without them I fear my toes will drop off! ha!

I found these boots on the NEXT website and fell in love. I've been searching for a nice pair of black ankle boots for some time now as my others have become demolished due to constant wear. I can't explain how comfortable they are, they have a padded inner lining so it feels great when walking.

I'm currently working on this drawing of Thom Yorke from Radiohead. This is the image I'm working from and so far it's going well, even though I'm dreading when it's time to draw the hands - I can't draw hands for the life of me! The hair is looking very flat at the moment too so I need to sharpen that up a notch! I just adore faces, they're all so different and beautiful. I'd like to draw everyone if I had the time!

So apologies for the none fashion related post today, I haven't worn anything exciting for a few days due to work and no one would want to see my work uniform, very dull.

I always feel very 'school-girly' in this outfit, blazers take me back to my school days! I really like the look of browns and navies being thrown together. (...Those shorts could do with a bit of an iron though ay!)

Overall today has been brilliant! I discovered Radiohead have released a digital download of their new album 'The King Of Limbs' which was a surprise since they stated it would be Saturday! Many people suspect more songs so hopefully tomorrow we shall see.

Knitted Top - New Look, Shorts - Topshop, Necklace - Charity Shop

Hello again guys! This is the first day this week that I haven't been busy so I thought I'd take some time to take some pictures! The quality has come out a bit dodgy on some, apologies! I wore this outfit during the week but fancied wearing it again. It's an outfit I find really comfortable, nothing is too tight and overbearing - it's just right!

I'm really glad the Sun has decided to show it's face a little more during this week, I hope it stays! I seriously cannot wait to start slipping into my summer clothes again, I love dresses and full skirts!

Hope everyone has had a great week, mine hasn't been that exciting in all honesty! University is stressing me out more than usual at the moment, not sure where my work is heading but I think I'm just going to go with the flow, experiment some more and see what happens! Also I've been busy with setting up an Art exhibition, it's not until April however the amount of work that has to go into organising one is very draining.

Weekly Snaps!

Hey guys, hope you've all very well :) Well, I gotta say that I'm completely and utterly knackered! I haven't long come back from an 11 hour shift because of a stock take, so I think it may be time for bed. The majority of these images were taken this week and apologies for their not-so-interesting...ness! I just really cannot put my camera down! I'm definitely one of those people who takes millions of pictures of their dogs. Go me!

Also this week I've come down with a case of the 'sniffles' hence the lemony drinks, my nose feels literally like a tap (A lovely mental image for you all there.. mmmm!) and my throats bloody sore! For me they usually develop into a cough so I just hope I don't have any embarrassing run-out-the-door-coughing-fit situations during lectures this week! (...and boy, have I had many of those!)

^ This is currently on repeat, if you ever feel drained and you want something light on the ears then this is perfect. It's only a couple of minutes; well worth a listen.

I've never been abroad so I'm deadly nervous about flying to Berlin in a couple of weeks... urgh!
I would say Radiohead are my favourite band of all time, along with The Smiths.
I tend to day-dream a hell of a lot, there's been so many times when I've been standing in a queue and not realised I was next - it doesn't make the other customers very happy.
When I was 15 I had 6 inches of hair cut off and automatically regretted my decision, it's taken me 4 years to grow it back due to the fact I've never liked the idea of wearing extensions.
I love to be in the surroundings of my own home, it always baffles friends of mine when I state that I prefer roaming around in my pj's and watching a movie rather than going out clubbing.
I generally only wear shorts/skirts because I tend to feel a lot more feminine.
My handbag goes everywhere with me; even if I'm just popping to the corner shop! My umbrella also never leaves my handbag.
